On the one hand, there was a powerful transient simulation tool based on a strong international development: TRNSYS. On the other hand, the TRNSYS EXPERIENCE Seminar highlights the growing and successful collaboration between Universities within the Greater-Region. This event is then an outcome of different partners dealing with TRNSYS in the frame of Research and Consultancy: University of Kaiserslautern, Université de Liège, Université du Luxembourg, Université de Lorraine & ICSEED.
After a first successful event in Nancy, France (in May 2015), we are pleased to announce our second international seminar about TRNSYS EXPERIENCE, dedicated to case studies and user exchanges. This seminar will be held at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany on February 25th & 26th of 2016.
Consequently, results from research as well as engineering will be presented considering the following main topics:
- Passive & Nearly-Zero Energy Building
- Energy & Comfort
- Renewable energy sources integration in buildings
- TRNSYS connection to other softwares
- Optimisation of energy use in buildings
For this second event, students from University of the Greater-Region will get the opportunity to participate actively and free of charge. They will gain an interesting insight into their future from the experiences of energy professionals and the direct exchange with them.
This seminar is a real opportunity to join Research, Engineering & Consultancy. Presentations will introduce research and cases promoting dynamic thermal/energy simulation as a powerful and meaningful tool either for all kind of energy or comfort related investigations on buildings, and energy systems.
